Definitely a good way to play a horror rpg haha Although all the spirits were spooky looking, I didn’t find this game TOO creepy (Actually, some of the spirits grew on me <3) But maybe that’s just because I like horror (and creepy-cute things)… I liked the art, and the gameplay, and the story (I was kind of surprised by how much story there was). I did a video series and I'm working on a guide for it (spoilers naturally). Yomawari: Night Alone and its sequel Yomawari: Midnight Shadows might be the ghostliest games ever made. Author's Saving Throw: A common complaint about Night Alone was that the game could only be saved at home Jizo Statues just served as respawn points. I played this game with another person, because this game really has its frustrating moments (like when you had to run behind the meat monster in the factory) and we would switch off any time the other was getting too impatient.

Plot Prehistory The Protagonist lives with her Sis and her dog, Poro, inside the Town. You play a little girl searching for her sister in a city filled with spirits and monsters. Do not be fooled Yomawari is definitely horror, and it makes sure you realize early on that despite the cutesy graphics, plenty of darkness and death await you.

Really neat system, but I couldn’t carry over my save data (which was fine I wasn’t that far in before). A quiet evening stroll takes a turn for the worse as a tragic accident befalls a little girl and her dog. Spoiler - After she rescues her sister and loses her left eye, she wears a white cloth eye patch over it. Yomawari: Night Alone, available for the PS Vita and Steam, looks like a cute game.
I played this game on my PSTV, which I had just bought. Just a quick review to show that I’m still here, though I really have been too busy to write much (what with school and my new job) But I loved this game, and later on I may write a longer article about my theories on the game.
